The Valtenesi area is located on the Morainic hills. It includes also the villages Soiano del Lago, situated only 2 km from Gardalake
Each village has a cosy centre, sometimes with a medieval castle, where in summer different events are organized.
Moniga is a small village with 1.500 inhabitants and it is in the centre of Valtenesi.
You can visit the beautiful Medieval castle which is still inhabited and which is at a very short walking distance from the centre of this characteristic village.
Moniga is located on the lake, it has a port and beaches and it is famous for the good cuisine and rosé wine called “Chiaretto”. Some important wineries such as Costaripa are situated in Moniga.
This town is perfect for young people as it offers several entertainment opportunities. Many bars and clubs make it a very active town all year long. The lakeside and the port are close to the city centre, where you will find many shops and boutiques.
Salò is an historic city which played a fundamental role during II World War. It has a wonderful lake gulf and is part of the Alto Garda Park; the centre is charcterized by two main street with shops, restaurants and bars
Most part of this small town is in the Castle. Within the walls of the castle you will discover a Medieval and evocative village. Sirmione is on the Garda Lake peninsula and offers different attractions, such as the Roman Villa named “Grotte di Catullo” and the thermal baths which are one of the most important in the area. Sirmione is one of the most touristic places of the lake, thanks to the many events and shows which are regularly organized
This village, with its 3.000 inhabitants, is located on the North side of the lake and is both one of the widest and less populated municipalities in Brescie province. It is located in the Alto Garda park and its territory arrives up to Valvestino valley.
The village is famous for its lemon houses.The city centre, with its narrow streets going to the lake, is rich in churches and ancient villas. You will find a wide range of restaurants on the lake.
This town is one of the Unesco cultural heritage centres; the Adige river flows in the middle of the city, where wonderful architectural sites, like the Arena and Juliet's house are located.
It's amazing to see the contrast between modern buildings and ancient archeological sites.
Verona was mentioned by important poets like Shakespeare and it is a place where entertainment can easily be found. You will be given the possibility to taste fine DOC and DOCG wines (like the famous Amarone) and local dishes. Furniture industry is also worth being mentioned.
